Lorenzo is a postdoctoral researcher at Scuola Normale Superiore, Florence, Italy. Lorenzo recently completed his PhD on the politization of care in urban commons movements. Now, he is focusing on the politics of housing and anti-touristification movements in rentier capitalism, and at the role of class (struggle) in a degrowth transition.

Lorenzo has published in The Sociological Review and Globalizations. He is a board member of Research and Degrowth International and a member of COSMOS
(Centre on Social Movement Studies). He holds a MSc in Anthropology and
Development from the LSE (London).
