ICTA-UAB

POSITION

Doctoral researcher

TOPICS WITHIN REAL

Unequal exchange
Meghna is a doctoral researcher at ICTA-UAB. For her PhD in the REAL project, she quantitatively traces contemporary unequal exchange in the world economy. She does so by focussing on the organisation and macroeconomics of agri-food value chains. Meghna has formal training in mainstream and heterodox economics from her time at university in Delhi. She employs input-output methods, and expects that her research will identify national- and actor-responsibilities for crises in the agri-food sector. At ICTA, she is the recipient of a Marie Curie grant.
