Laura is a postdoctoral researcher in the fields of ecological economics and industrial ecology (societal metabolism, IOT, MFA, LCA). Her research interests are the nexus of time use, energy, and other materials at country and sector levels, in order to find synergies and trade-offs of strategies and social organization towards a more sustainable society.

She focuses on the relationship between daily practices and infrastructure, including the lock-in of existent stocks as a hurdle to transformation. She explores possible transitions to sustainability while keeping “a good life” considering trade, biophysical and socio-economic constraints in the different sectors of the economy.
