Faneva Rahenitsoa is a first-year PhD student researching justice in tourism in Madagascar, with a particular interest in the politics of representation. A fun fact about her: she runs free virtual decolonial tours from Paris’s 7th arrondissement, tracing the legacies of colonialism and resistance in France and Madagascar today, and one of her dreams is to create one on Thomas Sankara’s visit to the island, situating it in Pan-African history.
