Angelos Varvarousis is an urban planner who is a senior Ramon y Cajal researcher at ICTA-UAB. He is the co-director of the master’s programme Degrowth: Ecology, Economics and Policy. Angelos holds a PhD in Environmental Science from ICTA-UAB, an MSc in Urban and Regional Planning from the National Technical University of Athens, and an MSc in Architectural Technology from the University of Patras. He works in the field of post-growth spatial development with an emphasis on urban studies, participatory planning, commons and commoning, island sustainability, and real-existing degrowth.
